Moving forward & growing our company is the core foundation of where we are today. Ambassador Foods was established in 1990 and is today, an admirable private label manufacturer in the nuts, dried fruit and snack industry.
We boast the capability to produce 370 different SKU’s in our state-of-the-art facilities. We ensure premium products are delivered at the best prices to our customers through an integrated business model that delivers the highest quality product, backed by the most reliable supply, manufacturing & logistics infrastructure.
Through the current private label manufacturing stream, we own and supply 40% of the South African nut & fruit business.

Purpose
To be the preferred supplier of a variety of edible nuts, dried fruit, seeds and related snack products in South Africa and Global Markets. Securing a reliable supply, processed in state-of-the-art facilities, delivering premium products at the best prices to our customers.
History
Over the course of the next 10 years the company incorporated Great Cape Nut Company and Nut Trade International. This helped secure additional import products as well as the wholesale market in South Africa.
A full integration of all the companies took place in 2003 and 2004. Shares were obtained in Global Nut Holdings; the latter had a focus on the primary processing and exports of South African peanuts and pecan nuts. The integration of global Nut Holdings took place in 2005 and Ambassador Foods, as it is known and loved today, was formed.

Our Production facilities and teams are supported by a full time internal technical and maintenance team. The ability of Ambassador Foods to supply the best possible quality product is regularly audited by international bodies such as IBL and FSSC.
